Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation and catering in accordance with Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are immaculately clean, including washing up crockery and utensils when required.

About You

• Ability to manage pressure, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
• Act as a link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs with meal plating, food trolley preparation, and maintaining cleanliness of preparation areas.
• Genuine interest in working in a care home environment.
• Previous experience in a care home is desirable but not essential.
• Organized, committed, and flexible to work shifts.
• Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
