Job summary

Fordingbridge Nursing Home, part of Allegra Care Group, is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant to join the kitchen team and provide nutritious, well-presented meals in a warm, household-style environment for residents.

This permanent 30-hour-per-week role supports chefs, maintains cleanliness, assists with meal service, and contributes to a safe, high-quality catering experience.

The role offers £13.20 per hour, ongoing training, and development opportunities within Allegra Care.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play an important part in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a welcoming environment.

You'll be supporting our chefs and kitchen team with:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing up and keeping work areas organised
• Assisting with meal service
• Helping ensure residents enjoy an excellent dining experience every day
• Supporting the kitchen team in delivering safe, high-quality catering services

Hours

• 30 hours per week
• One weekday shift
• Every Saturday and Sunday
