Job Description

Salary: £12.75 – £13.75 per hour. Contract type: Permanent. Hours: 24 hours per week. Working pattern: Shift rota between 7 am – 6:30 pm, including alternate weekends. CQC rating: Good. Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.7.

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures and follow mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Qualifications and Skills

Passion for food, prior kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Deliver excellent service at each meal, maintain high standards in and around the home and ensure residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. Communicate effectively with the kitchen and care teams and cherish moments with residents.
