Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant for our luxury care home in Letchworth Garden City. You will support meal preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist with deliveries and stock organization in a safe, well organised kitchen.

The role offers a consistent routine, DBS and pension benefits, and uniform provided. Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, with opportunities to learn and develop in a supportive team.

A purpose-built, luxury care home positioned within the quiet residential area of Letchworth Garden City. We provide Residential, Nursing, Respite and Dementia care for 50-residents.

Kitchen Assistant

• £12.71 per hour
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
