Job summary

Amberley Care Home in Sale, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will help with food preparation and maintain a well organised space.

The role is hands-on, involves assisting with deliveries, storage and stock, and you will work closely with the Chef and team. Alternate weekends may be required, and benefits include DBS paid, pension and uniform.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation of meals to a high standard in a clean, safe kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries and stock organisation.
• Work closely with the Chef and wider team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Our luxury care home is situated in the beautiful, historic town of Sale, offering Residential, Dementia & Respite care for 72-residents., As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard. You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times. This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
