Job summary

Hartford Care is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join West Cliff Hall Care Home in Hythe, Hampshire. This 36-hour-per-week role focuses on preparing nutritious meals under hygienic conditions and in line with current food laws and regulations, while working as part of a welcoming team.

You will help with menu items from vegetables for curry night to delivering breakfasts to residents, washing up after meals, and assisting with baking mornings, always putting care at the heart of what you do.

Kitchen Assistant / 36 hours per week

Location: West Cliff Hall Care Home, West Street, Hythe, Hampshire, SO45 6AA

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be assisting in the provision of nutritious meals under hygienic conditions while being aware of and act in accordance with current food laws and regulations, and working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.

Whether you are preparing vegetables for a curry night, delivering a resident’s breakfast to their room, washing up after the lunch period, or assisting residents with a baking morning you will do so with care at the heart of everything you do.
