Job summary

Ashgrove Care Home in Hounslow, West London, is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to help prepare high quality meals in a clean, organized kitchen. You will work closely with the Chef and team to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers a consistent routine, DBS paid, uniform provided, and benefits as part of a supportive workplace. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required, and a positive, reliable attitude is essential.

About Ashgrove Care Home

Ashgrove Care Home is a 49 bed, purpose built care home located in Hounslow, West London. Providing nursing and nursing dementia care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment with bright, accessible living spaces, inviting lounges, dining areas and a private garden. Colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
