Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience
Hours: 27.5 per week
Shift Pattern: 10am – 4pm, 5 days a week including alternate weekends
Contract type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Act as the link between the main kitchen and residents.
• Assist chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and keep all preparation areas clean and tidy.
• Monitor stock rotation, comply with company policies and procedures, and follow mandatory COSHH and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Ability to deliver excellent service at each meal and create a pleasant dining experience for residents.
• Good communication skills and teamwork with kitchen and care home teams.
