Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Supervising Social Worker within the Countywide Fostering Service to support Kinship Carers. You will deliver supervision, ensure training compliance, and collaborate with professionals to support children in care. A driving licence and ability to travel across Nottinghamshire are essential.

Qualifikationen

Professional Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England are essential.
Minimum of two years' experience working with children, young people and families.
Solid understanding of child development, effective parenting and attachment theory.

Aufgaben

Deliver supervision and support to Kinship Carers to ensure high-quality care.
Conduct monthly supervision sessions with reflective discussions.
Ensure training compliance and fostering standards.
Collaborate with professionals to meet the needs of children in care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of supervision and assessments.
Potentially complete Form K Kinship Assessments when necessary.
