Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is recruiting a Fostering Supervising Social Worker to cover Warwickshire for a 2-year fixed term, full-time basis (37 hours). The role involves providing supervision to foster carers, conducting home performance reviews, and producing SGO reports for court.

You will work across a countywide service, supporting carers and young people with safeguarding and placement planning. The post requires a professional Social Work qualification and Social Work England

Qualifications

• Must hold a Social Work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering and kinship settings is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and support to foster carers and young people to maintain stability in foster homes.
• Undertake Fostering Home Performance reviews.
• Prepare SGO reports for court as required.
• Support with standards of care, placement planning meetings and duty duties.
• Assist with recruitment events and social events for foster carers.
