Job summary

HC-One - Woodthorpe Lodge is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to enrich residents’ lives with engaging daily activities and community events. You’ll plan, implement and adapt programmes, assist the Home Manager with fundraising, and foster a warm, respectful, and inclusive home environment.

The role suits someone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals, strong planning and IT skills, and a positive, kind approach to teamwork and residents.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals is preferred.
• Strong planning and organisational abilities are essential.
• Good IT skills and comfort with digital care planning tools.
• Ability to communicate kindly and effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities for residents.
• Help the Home Manager organise fundraising events.
• Support residents in socialising and maintaining wellbeing.
• Collaborate with care home team to deliver a warm, inclusive activity programme.
