Be Personnel and our client are hiring a Kiln Operator in Rosyth, Scotland, on a temp-to-perm basis. The role involves operating kilns to smoke/cook fish, weighing and recording weights, and maintaining CCP controls in a small team environment.

4 on 4 off shifts, 18:00-06:30 or 05:30-18:00, in-person site work with on-site parking. The successful candidate will be safety-focused, highly organized, and able to input data accurately, with overtime paid at time and a half.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Rinse trolleys of fish and manage their movement
• Weigh trolleys and record weights against tare
• Record temperature controls on CCP documents
• Plan and manage workloads within a small team
• Move fish-filled trolleys in a controlled process
• Operate programmed kilns for smoking/cooking
• Monitor CCP cooling controls and data logs
• Input data into PC systems
• Handle dust mixing to specification
• Clean smoke generators and maintain hygiene

Responsibilities include:

• Rinsing trolleys of fish
• Weighing trolleys of fish and recording weights against tare weights
• Taking of Temperature controls & recording on CCP controlled Documents
• Plan & Manage workloads within a small team
• Move in a controlled process trolleys of fish
• Use of programmed Kilns
• Smoking / Cooking of fish through Kilns
• CCP Cooling controls
• Inputting data on PC
• Mixing of dusts to specification
• Cleaning of Smoke Generators
