Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving goods, picking, replenishing and loading stock for despatch. You will work safely, following food safety and health & safety policies, ensuring products reach stores in prime condition.

Role involves active teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with weekend shifts and locations requiring reliable transport due to site timings. Training and ongoing development are provided.

Qualifications

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys a fast paced environment.
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness.
• Has experience in fast-paced warehouse environments (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload stock from suppliers and bring products in.
• Pick stock, replenish and put away goods.
• Operate a forklift truck to move and load stock for despatch.
• Follow health and safety policies to protect products and colleagues.

More about the role

As a Warehouse & FLT Key Operative you'll be absolutely critical to the operation! You'll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck and loading stock for despatch.

You'll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at the store ready for our customers.

Please note that:

• All rotas include an element of weekend working
• Having your own transport would be advantageous due to shift times and location of site

• Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
• Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures, and which may be noisy or dusty
• Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
• Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems and equipment (desirable)
