Job summary

Thorpe Hesley Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed full time teaching assistant to join our friendly team. The role is to support children including children with additional needs in Key Stage 2.

We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate and patient to join our committed and friendly team. Previous experience of working with children is required and you must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• GCSE English and Maths (grade C or above) or equivalent.
• Flexible, numerate, IT literate, punctual and reliable.
• Willing to undertake training as required.
• Provide basic first aid as part of the school day (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Support children, including those with additional needs, in Key Stage 2.
• Assist in daily classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Provide basic first aid as required.
