Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a Year 3/4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Walsall, supporting pupils in Lower KS2. The role offers both long-term and day-to-day supply, with a flexible path to a permanent-style placement.

You will teach Year 3/4, deliver engaging lessons, follow pre-planned schemes for supply, and plan for long-term placements when required. Strong KS2 knowledge and a proactive, flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Recent experience teaching Year 3 and/or Year 4
• Experience in Key Stage 2
• QTS – ECTs with KS2 experience encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of KS2 curriculum
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management
• Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• Strong school reference from your recent employer
• Reliable, flexible and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Teach within Year 3 and/or Year 4
• Deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
• Follow pre-planned lessons for day-to-day supply
• Plan and prepare lessons for long-term placements
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
• Work alongside Teaching Assistants to create a positive learning environment
• Mark and assess pupils' work in line with school expectations
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Contribute positively to the wider school community
