Position Overview: As a Secondary School Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our students. Your passion for teaching and dedication to their development will be the driving force behind our educational success.


Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and collaboration.
  • Use innovative teaching methods to inspire a love for learning and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school community to enhance the learning experience.
  • Promote a safe and respectful classroom environment that values diversity.
  • Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.
  • Ability to mark and plan exciting lessons for students that are in accordance with the syllabus.
  • Experience of working within a Secondary school setting.
  • Create positive relationships with staff, students and governors.

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
