Location: Blackpool
Salary: 90 - 115 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only

An inclusive and nurturing Alternative Provision is seeking a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team, supporting a small class of 8 children. These pupils may have a range of social, emotional, or behavioural needs, and benefit greatly from a tailored and therapeutic approach to education.
The Role:
Supporting a Key Stage 1 class of 8 pupils, delivering 1:1 and small group interventions.
Assisting with the delivery of a personalised and structured curriculum.
Helping pupils regulate their emotions and engage positively with learning.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure each child thrives.
Creating a safe, calm, and encouraging classroom environment.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with additional or complex needs (SEMH, SEN, ASD, etc.).
A calm, confident, and nurturing approach to behaviour management.
A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 TA, CACHE) is desirable.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
