📍 Location: Whitby

💰 Pay: £140–£180 per day

📆 Start Date: ASAP

📄 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with permanent opportunities)

We are seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher for a friendly primary school in Whitby. This role involves supporting early learners as they develop core literacy and numeracy skills and fostering a warm, positive environment where pupils can thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver well‑structured KS1 lessons that support pupils at varying stages of development.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups where needed to boost progress.
  • Use creative approaches to keep young learners engaged.
  • Track attainment and contribute to pupil progress reviews.
  • Build positive routines that promote confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with the KS1 team and support staff.
  • Promote a calm, caring and inclusive classroom.
