Job summary

Barrington James is seeking two Key Account Managers to lead hospital sales for paediatric specialty medicines across the East of England and London. You will build relationships with paediatricians, nurses and hospital pharmacists and manage access through formulary processes.

This field-based role offers autonomy in a small, mission-driven company with three launches in the pipeline. Ideal candidates have NHS knowledge, ABPI qualification, and a full UK driving license with willingness to

Qualifications

• Proven hospital-based pharmaceutical or specialty sales experience.
• Strong NHS knowledge of formulary processes and decision-making.
• Launch experience is a plus; ABPI qualification or active progress toward it.
• Self-starter who thrives in a small, agile team with field-based work.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver territory business plans to grow hospital sales of paediatric neurology and cardiology products.
• Build strong relationships with consultant paediatricians, hospital pharmacists and specialist nurses.
• Navigate hospital formulary processes to secure product access and uptake.
• Identify and develop key accounts and local advocates ahead of new product launches.
• Work with Country Manager and head office on Launch planning, market insight and customer feedback.
• Operate in full compliance with ABPI Code of Practice.
