Job summary

Evolve Selection is seeking a Key Account Manager for the East of England in the UK pharmaceutical sector. You will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and KOLs, drive appropriate use of products and help expand access to paediatric medicines.

Ideal candidates will have a university degree, ABPI qualification, and 3+ years in pharmaceutical secondary care sales, with the ability to influence prescribing decisions and execute territory plans in a growing, purpose-driven

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical secondary care sales role.
  • ABPI qualification required.

Responsibilities

  • To drive sales of our clients’ products in the territory.
  • Develop and execute the territory plan to achieve revenue and profit targets in line with the UK Marketing strategy.
  • Engage a wide range of Healthcare Professionals to raise product awareness and influence prescribing decisions.
  • Enable access to products through formulary approvals where not currently listed.
  • Build our client brand by developing links with KOLs in paediatrics and pharmacy in hospitals and the community.
  • Attend relevant events and conferences to promote the products.
  • Provide market feedback to marketing to help shape the strategy and work with the salesforce to grow the business.

Ideal Requirements
  • University degree or equivalent, ideally in life sciences / business related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical secondary care sales role
  • ABPI Qualified
Role Responsibilities
  • To drive sales of our clients’ products in the territory.
  • Develop and execute the territory plan, to achieve the revenue and profit targets in line with the UK Marketing strategy.

  • Building of our client brand through developing strong links with KOL’s in both Paediatrics and Pharmacy in both hospitals and the community.

  • Gain market feedback and share with marketing to help develop and improve the marketing strategy.
  • Work with the existing salesforce, management and marketing to continue to develop the sales strategy as the business grows.
