Key Account Manager – Anti-Infectives (Field-Based – Scotland & North)

Scotland, North East & parts of North West England

We’re hiring a Key Account Manager to join a fast-growing specialty pharmaceutical company with an impressive pipeline and a successful recent launch in anti-infectives. This is a field-based position with no office requirement—ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy, variety, and real ownership of their territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote and represent a specialist anti-infectives portfolio to hospital-based physicians and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and formulary decision-makers
  • Drive access and usage across accounts within Scotland, the North East, and part of the North West
  • Collaborate on strategy with the UK Sales Manager and support upcoming launches (including in pain management)
  • Attend national and international conferences and engage in continuous market development
  • Regularly report activity and maintain CRM data

Requirements:

  • Strong track record in hospital sales, particularly secondary care
  • Experience navigating formulary processes and working with hospital stakeholders
  • Knowledge of anti-infectives is a plus, but not essential
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with excellent planning and organisation
