A major European manufacturer is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage significant accounts and target new business in the food processing sector. This role offers a competitive salary of up to £75,000 with an OTE of circa £40,000 and the flexibility to work from home anywhere in England. Qualifications

• Experience in selling to the meat, fish, and poultry markets is a plus.
• You WILL have a technical background.

• Grow our business within these accounts and target new key accounts.

Key Account Manager

Overview: This is a Key Account Manager role with a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery based high value technical equipment and line solutions sold into the food processing and manufacturing markets.

Location

Covering the whole of the UK, you will be home based so can live anywhere in England.

Responsibilities

• Manage our two biggest UK accounts that are major food processing and manufacturing companies worth circa £5 million plus turnover per annum, with a brief to grow our business within these accounts and to target selected new key accounts.

Qualifications

• You MUST have a proven track record of selling high value technical solutions based around food process and packaging machinery sold into the food processing or manufacturing market.
• Ideally you will have specific experience of selling to the meat, fish and poultry markets.
• You WILL have a technical background and ideally relevant engineering qualifications.

Company

We are a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery based high value technical equipment and line solutions. We have a 3 to 5 year growth plan and a new management team to deliver that plan, which will include new UK premises in the near future. We offer full design and project management services and have partnership deals with several other major PPMA companies to deliver complete lines in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

Prospects

Success in this role could lead to a sales management role in the next 2 to 3 years.
