Key Account Manager

Location: Midlands and North West

Salary: Up to £38,000 (DOE), plus Commission, Company Car & Corporate Benefits Package (including Working from home, Private Healthcare, and Pension Scheme).

Lyreco is the market leader in Workplace Solutions. We provide a wide range of products and services, from furniture to files, notebooks to napkins, hot drinks to highlighters, or paperclips to print solutions.

As our Key Account Manager, you will manage an existing portfolio of corporate accounts to achieve sales and margin targets, retain profitable customers, and develop new areas of spend by identifying sales opportunities across categories to ensure year-on-year growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure achievement of sales and margin targets.
  • Develop successful business partnerships across a customer base while maintaining value-added services.
  • Identify key areas for growth and gross profit increase by providing the full 'Workplace Solution' within corporate accounts.
  • Negotiate and retain existing business through re-tendering and secure fixed-term agreements.
  • Visit accounts quarterly; create and deliver account development plans.
  • Manage a territory area.
The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build trust and rapport quickly at all levels.
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to act independently.
  • Understanding of business aims and objectives, applying this to various situations.
  • Strong commercial judgment and business development knowledge.
  • Self-management skills, including time management, planning, and prioritization.
