Job summary

TMRG is seeking a Key Account Coordinator to manage and coordinate Deep Sea Import shipments from booking through to delivery in a fast-paced Birmingham office.

You will handle UK Import Customs Declarations, prepare IPAFFS notifications and CHEDs, and liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operation and timely updates. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Deep Sea Import Freight Forwarding is essential.
• Experience completing and controlling UK Import Customs Declarations.
• Experience reviewing and processing shipment and customs documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple live shipments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate Deep Sea Import shipments from booking through to delivery.
• Complete and control UK Import Customs Declarations.
• Create and manage IPAFFS notifications and CHEDs where required.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers and internal operational teams.
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment progress and ETA changes, providing timely updates.
• Maintain accurate operational, customs, costing and billing records.

What will you do as a Key Account Coordinator?

• Manage and coordinate Deep Sea Import shipments from booking through to delivery
• Complete and control UK Import Customs Declarations
• Create and manage IPAFFS notifications and CHEDs where required
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers and internal operational teams
• Monitor vessel schedules, shipment progress and ETA changes, providing timely updates
• Maintain accurate operational, customs, costing and billing records
• Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, commodity information and origin data

What do you need as a Key Account Coordinator?

• Previous experience in Deep Sea Import Freight Forwarding is essential
• Practical experience of completing and controlling UK Import Customs Declarations
• Experience reviewing and processing shipment and customs documentation
• Ability to manage multiple live shipments and competing deadlines
