Job summary

WR Logistics in London Gateway is seeking an experienced Freight Coordinator for Deep Sea Imports. You will own day-to-day import operations, ensuring bookings, documentation, and shipments are handled accurately and efficiently.

The role offers hybrid working, a salary of £32,000-£38,000 DOE, 25 days leave, a healthcare scheme, pension, and training including CargoWise One accreditation. Join a supportive team with real career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous freight forwarding experience, with a strong focus on imports.
• Good knowledge of deep sea import procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good IT and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Proactive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently once trained while contributing positively to a close-knit team. CargoWise One experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing deep sea import shipments from booking through to completion.
• Processing bookings and operational documentation.
• Invoicing and completing operational files.

The role
