Job summary

Vero HR Ltd is supporting a well-established family-owned enterprise in the UK foodservice distribution sector by recruiting a Key Account Administrator for the Peterborough depot. The role focuses on supporting key customers, processing orders accurately in Marketman, and liaising with buyers to resolve discrepancies.

You will collaborate with the telesales and wider commercial teams, perform data entry and general office duties, and handle calls as part of a busy admin environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an administration, customer service, or system-based role.
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy when working with data.
• Confident and proficient in the use of IT systems and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Lives within a commutable distance to the Peterborough depot.

Responsibilities

• Support key customers and ensure smooth processing of orders.
• Manage orders received via Marketman; check quantities and prices for accuracy.
• Contact buyers to resolve discrepancies.
• Provide administrative support to telesales and the wider commercial teams.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and general office administration tasks.
