Job summary

Howarth Timber Group in Harrogate invites an experienced Showroom Sales Manager to lead our kitchen, bedroom and bathroom showroom. You will build relationships, translate customers’ ideas into CAD designs using ArtiCAD, and drive sales by coaching the showroom team.

You will welcome visitors, generate new business, ensure accurate order processing and maintain showroom standards. You will also ensure a high level of customer service, handle after-sales queries, and work within company policies,

Qualifications

• Experience in KBB design and sales within retail, trade, contract or sales environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop showroom staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and prospective clients in the showroom
• Conduct home visits/contract site quotes and build relationships
• Provide CAD designs using ArtiCAD and quotations from enquiry
• Close and process all sales accurately
• Source products from suppliers to meet orders
• Follow up on existing orders to meet delivery requirements
• Answer queries from commercial customers and the public
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle after-sales issues
• Adhere to finance procedures and fitter rewards
• Maintain and update the showroom log sheet and KBB Connect
• Engage with account customers to create new sales
• Keep showroom tidy and up-to-date with samples
• Coordinate showroom staffing, including Saturday mornings
• Manage showroom staff to ensure smooth sales and order processing
• Attend promotional showroom events and other duties as needed
