Karbon Homes in the Castles and Coasts region is seeking a Karbon Solutions Team Manager to lead the delivery of heating servicing and repairs across circa 9,500 properties.

You will manage a team of heating engineers, ensure Gas Safe compliance, carry out QA inspections, and drive service improvements in partnership with external stakeholders. This is a rigidly safety-focused role with strong leadership and communication requirements.

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Karbon Solutions Team Manager in our Castles and Coasts team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in people’s lives.

About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit for a Karbon Solutions Team Manager to oversee and manage the delivery for the heating servicing and repairs to circa 9500 properties for Castles and Coasts Housing association, Eden housing association, Mitre Housing and TCUK across the whole of the Cumbrian region.

About You

Working as part of the Castles and Coasts team, we’re looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced individual to manage and lead a team of heating engineers in carrying out gas, oil, lpg and renewable servicing, and repairs for our partner organizations, Castles and Coasts Housing association, Eden housing association, Mitre Housing and TCUK.

This individual will need to be gas qualified as a minimum requirement and be able to demonstrate a broad range of experience and knowledge in various heating types, to support and facilitate the highest possible standard of workmanship by carrying out Quality Assurance inspections as well as facilitating training for operatives as and when required and ensure all operational and health and safety policies, procedures and processes are adhered to and managed correctly.

The individual will be working collaboratively with external stakeholders and partners; you’ll promote and deliver our services and will be actively involved in the improvement of the service whilst being able to work in new and innovative ways and have good communication skills.

Key Details

• Karbon Solutions Team Manager – Permanent role
• Salary - £51,389 per annum plus a company van (the use of a company van will be discussed with the successful candidate)
• Location to be agreed with successful candidate: Carlisle/Workington
• Regular travel will be required within the North-West region
• 40 hours per week with some homeworking/flexible working available
