South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Justice Social Worker to join the Cambuslang/Rutherglen Locality Team for up to 12 months. The role involves assessments, developing intervention plans, risk management and collaboration with partner agencies to support rehabilitation.

A Degree in Social Work and SSSC registration are essential. Experience in report writing, risk assessment and case management is required, with PVG checks and a commitment to social justice and person-centred practice.

Formación

• A Degree in Social Work and registration with the SSSC are essential.
• Experience in report writing within justice or social work settings is required.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles is needed.
• Must be able to undertake PVG checks (Overseas checks where applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of service users' needs, strengths and risks.
• Manage a diverse caseload and coordinate interventions in line with requirements.
• Prepare and submit high-quality Justice Social Work reports for Courts and forums.
• Conduct risk assessments to inform risk management plans.
• Develop, implement and review case management plans for rehabilitation.
• Work in partnership with justice partners, health services and third sector organisations.
• Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
• Contribute to multi-agency risk management processes.
