Job summary

Highland Council is seeking a dedicated social work professional to provide support to individuals subject to statutory supervision, bail supervision, and structured deferred sentences within a broader justice social work service to Court. The role involves group work and throughcare responsibilities in a community setting.

Successful candidates will be part of a committed council team advocating equality, diversity, and fairness, with a requirement to commit to PVG membership where applicable

Qualifications

• Education to at least Scottish Higher Grade or the equivalent.

Responsibilities

• To work with and provide support to individuals subject to statutory supervision (Community Payback Orders), bail supervision, structured deferred sentences and voluntary throughcare, group work and contributing to providing a justice social work service to Court.
