Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Ashford (Orbital Park) is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team, carrying out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, MOT preparation and vehicle maintenance across all major makes and models in a purpose-built workshop. Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM with strictly zero weekends.

We offer a basic salary band of £35,000 – £42,000 per annum, 30 days holiday (22 days + bank holidays), a workplace pension, on-site parking, free uniform,

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or solid time-served workshop experience.
• Proven track record in mechanical servicing, repairs and electronic fault diagnostics.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and mechanical repairs.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and conduct safety inspections.
• Diagnose faults across major makes and models.

• Experience: Proven track record in mechanical servicing, general repairs, and electronic fault diagnostics.
• Mindset: Positive team attitude, reliability, high attention to detail, and pride in delivering 5-star workmanship.
• Essentials: Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.
