Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is looking for a Junior / Trainee Electrical Service Engineer to cover a local patch around Wolverhampton. You will service, repair and monitor water utility equipment with a company van provided and door-to-door travel paid.

This days-based role (Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm) includes full in-house training plus external courses, plus paid overtime (OTE up to £42k). The salary starts at £30,000–£32,000 with additional overtime and benefits.

Are you a Junior Service Engineer with an electrical background, looking to progress your career in a close-knit company who will supply full in-house training in a niche industry?

Are you looking to join a stable, industry leading company offering door to door pay, covering a 1-hour patch around in a provided van with a 12:45pm finish on a Friday?

On offer is a Monday to Friday role with no call outs, where you will be servicing and maintaining a range of water utility equipment.

In this role you will be responsible for servicing, monitoring and repairing equipment within the water utility industry. You will be given an electric van for personal use too, covering a local patch within a 1-hour radius of your house, paid door to door.

This long-standing company have over 40 employees on the field and are looking for someone to join their workforce supporting their growth. They pride themselves on giving the best service to their customers and being industry leaders.

This role would suit a Junior Electrical Service Engineer looking for a days-based role with onsite training, external and electrical courses.

The Role:

• Optional overtime paid at 1.5x with Sunday paid at 2x
