Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Trainee Water Engineer (Field Based) in Yeovil, Somerset. The role offers a 30,000 - 36,000 salary with OTE 46k, overtime, enhanced pay, door-to-door earnings, van, fuel card, and strong progression opportunities.

You will receive bespoke training to install, service, and maintain water treatment systems, diagnosing water quality issues, and supporting the drilling team to deliver water solutions across the Southwest.

Qualifications

• Level 3 engineer with experience in water systems, valves, pumps or similar.
• Full UK driving license.
• Willing to train and develop under specialist training.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain water treatment systems including filters, softeners, UV units, pumps and chemical dosing equipment.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a regional patch and provided van and tools.

Are you an Engineer looking for a trainee role to upskill yourself and specilaise within a growing industry working with water systems, pumps, valves or similar?

This company specialise in cable percussion drilling, rotary drilling, water boreholes, geothermal boreholes, and water treatment systems. With over 50 years of industry experience, they are trusted for their technical expertise, reliability, and commitment to sustainable solution.

In this role you will receive training to install, service, and maintain water treatment systems, diagnose and resolve water quality issues, and support the drilling team to deliver complete water supply solutions across the Southwest.

This role would suit an aspiring Water Engineer or similar and are looking to progress their career within a specialist firm provide plenty of training and a clear pathway of progression.
