Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Water Utility Service Engineer (Electrical) in Matlock to service and maintain water utility equipment within a local patch. You will start with full in-house training and optional external courses, earning a base salary plus a company van and door-to-door pay.

The role is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x and Sundays at 2x. A stable, established team supports your development in a niche industry.

Qualifications

• Electrical background is required.
• Experience in field service or maintenance is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo in-house training and external courses.

Are you a Service Engineer with an electrical background, looking to progress your career in a close-knit company who will supply full in-house training in a niche industry?

Are you looking to join a stable, industry leading company offering door to door pay, covering a 1-hour patch around the peak district area in a provided van?

On offer is a Monday to Friday role with no call outs, where you will be servicing and maintaining a range of water utility equipment.

In this role you will be responsible for servicing, monitoring and repairing equipment within the water utility industry. You will be given an electric van for personal use too, covering a local patch within a 1-hour radius of your house, paid door to door.

This long-standing company have over 40 employees on the field and are looking for someone to join their workforce supporting their growth. They pride themselves on giving the best service to their customers and being industry leaders.

This role would suit an Electrical Service Engineer looking for a days-based role with onsite training, external and electrical courses.

The Role:

• Servicing, repairing, monitoring water utility equipment
• Full training provided in house with external courses provided
• Covering a local patch, a 1-hour radius from your house, paid door to door
• Optional overtime paid at 1.5x with Sunday paid at 2x
• Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
