Overview

Kent College houses The Great Hall, an award winning 600 seat auditorium on the Senior School Site. Alongside a regular programme of college shows and events ranging from Music, Drama and Variety, the venue welcomes numerous local and national performing arts groups each year.

The Junior Theatre Technician plays a key role in the team to help support in the delivery of our shows and events for the College. You will have relevant recent experience in a technical theatre environment.

The team is made up of a Senior Theatre Technician, this role and a bank of casual events staff and casual technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of shows and events for the College in a technical theatre environment.
  • Work as part of a team that includes the Senior Theatre Technician and casual events staff and technicians.
  • Contribute to the smooth running of performances and events on the Great Hall stage.

  • Relevant recent experience in a technical theatre environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with flexibility for a rota covering weekdays, weekends and evenings.
  • Desire to contribute to a high standard of performance and technical delivery.
