Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Junior Sport Tennis Casual Coach to support the Tennis Junior programme within Cardiff Met Sport. You will work with the Lead Coaches to deliver high-quality coaching and help participants develop tennis skills across age groups.

Experience in sport coaching, customer care, and a Level 1 tennis coaching qualification are essential. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a commitment to high standards within a values-driven university environment.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching in a sport coaching environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and national governing body policies.
• Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or above) in tennis.
• Excellent teamwork and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Coaches of Tennis and Cardiff Met Junior Sport team in delivering high-quality tennis coaching.
• Support participants in developing tennis skills across various age groups and abilities.
• Assist in teaching and refining tennis skills for different levels of ability.
• Collaborate with the Lead Coach to develop and refine training programmes and provide feedback.
