Job summary

Cardiff Met is seeking a Junior Sport Gymnastics Casual Coach to join the Sport Systems team and assist with delivering the Gymnastics Junior programme across Cardiff Met Sport. You will support participants from recreational classes through to performance groups and help refine routines for floor, vault, bars and beam.

You’ll work with the Lead Coach to develop training plans, monitor safety, and provide feedback to help gymnasts progress while upholding high standards and a positive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or above) in gymnastics.
• Superb teamwork skills to deliver the best outcomes for participants.
• Experience working with customers and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Coach in delivering high-quality gymnastics coaching.
• Support participants from recreational classes through to performance groups.
• Teach and refine gymnastics routines for events (floor, vault, bars, beam).
• Monitor gymnasts during practice to ensure safe performance.
• Collaborate with the Lead Coach to develop and refine training programmes and provide feedback.
