Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Junior Sport Athletics Casual Coach to join the Cardiff Met Junior Sport team. You will assist with delivering high-quality athletics coaching and support participants across various age groups in the Athletics programme.

You will work with the Lead Coaches to develop training programmes, refine coaching techniques, and provide feedback on what works well and what could be improved.

Qualifications

• Level 1 Coach Qualification (or above) in athletics.
• Superb team working skills and ability to deliver best outcomes for participants.
• Experience working with customers and parents and providing an outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Lead Coaches of Athletics and wider Cardiff Met Junior Sport team in delivering high-quality Athletics coaching.
• Supporting participants and athletes in development across age groups and development levels.
• Assist in teaching and refining Athletics skills (Run, Jump, Throw).
• Collaborate with the Lead Coach to develop and refine training programmes with feedback on effectiveness.
