Job summary

Omexom in the United Kingdom seeks a Junior Tendering Engineer to support the preparation of detailed bid submissions for renewable energy and high voltage projects. You will work with the Bid Manager and cross-functional teams to develop compliant, competitive tenders.

The role involves producing cost models in Excel, reviewing drawings and specifications, and assisting with RFQs, risk registers and value engineering opportunities to enhance bids.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating or similar commercial/sourcing role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to build cost models.
• Ability to work to tight tender submission deadlines.
• Awareness of NEC and FIDIC contract forms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Bid Manager in producing project pricing and tender submissions.
• Collaborate with bid, engineering, procurement and delivery teams.
• Assist in preparation of BoQs, quantity take-offs and cost models.
• Prepare RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors with specs and scope.
• Maintain tender documentation and audit trails.
