Job summary

Tank Recruitment is seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer for a 6-month fully remote contract in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on preparing and reviewing tender documentation for 132kV projects, with emphasis on renewables, BESS, and grid connections.

The successful candidate will interpret DNO offers, align with G81 standards, and coordinate Employer's Requirements, DORs, and technical specs to ensure comprehensive tender packs and compliant submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical infrastructure or power sector tendering.
• Knowledge of 132kV projects and UK DNO requirements.
• Familiarity with Employer's Requirements, DORs and tender documentation.
• Understanding of renewables, BESS and energy storage projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate technical tender submissions and associated documentation.
• Interpret DNO connection offers and understand requirements for 132kV projects.
• Review and work with DNO Engineering Requirements, particularly G81 standards.
• Understand Employer's Requirements (ERs), Design Outline Requirements (DORs) and associated technical specifications.
• Compile and review tender packs, ensuring all technical and project requirements are captured.
• Support tendering activities across renewable energy, BESS and energy storage projects.
