Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting a Junior Systems Developer near Lewes. The role involves supporting development, maintenance and improvement of websites, internal CRM systems and business applications used by customers and teams.

You will work closely with the Director to gain exposure to software development, databases and IT infrastructure while training is actively encouraged. The successful candidate will have an interest in software development, with exposure to HTML and C#, SQL

Qualifications

• Exposure to HTML, C#, SQL databases or web development technologies would be highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity and a willingness to learn are important.
• Comfortable communicating with colleagues, understanding user requirements and working in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the maintenance and development of websites and web applications.
• Assisting with improvements to internal CRM systems.
• Investigating and resolving software and website issues.
• Supporting the maintenance of databases and APIs.
• Assisting with updates to desktop applications.
• Providing first-line support for internal technical issues.
• Supporting server and service monitoring activities.
• Working with users to identify system improvements.
• Participating in testing and deployment of new functionality.
• Learning new development tools and technologies as required.
