Job summary

Solutions Limited in Sheffield is recruiting a Junior Stores Controller to join the engineering team on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting the day-to-day warehouse operations, managing engineering parts and stock, and preparing equipment for engineers on site.

Based at our Sheffield site, the position offers full training and a clear path for progression within the business. Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm, office/warehouse based, with an emphasis on reliability and a proactive attitude.

Here is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering business as a Junior Stores Controller, working closely with the engineering team and Technical Engineering Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has stores or engineering experience but is keen to learn, take responsibility and build a long-term career within the business.

The company supports engineers working across a range of customer sites, and the warehouse plays a key role in ensuring engineers have the correct parts, equipment, PPE and consumables when they need them.

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, managing engineering parts and stock, preparing equipment for engineers and sites, maintaining accurate records and assisting with deliveries and collections.

Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has the right attitude and wants to develop.
