Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions in Sheffield is hiring a Junior Stores Controller to join the engineering team. Based in an office/warehouse, you will support day-to-day warehouse operations, manage engineering parts and stock, and help prepare equipment for engineers on site.

This entry-level role offers full training, Monday-Friday (7am-4pm), with career progression and a permanent position. Applicants with parts or stores experience who want to learn about engineering and build a long-term career are

Are you an organised, practical individual looking to start or develop a career within an engineering environment?

Here is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering business as a Junior Stores Controller, working closely with the engineering team and Technical Engineering Director.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has stores or engineering experience but is keen to learn, take responsibility and build a long-term career within the business.

The company supports engineers working across a range of customer sites, and the warehouse plays a key role in ensuring engineers have the correct parts, equipment, PPE and consumables when they need them.

The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse, managing engineering parts and stock, preparing equipment for engineers and sites, maintaining accurate records and assisting with deliveries and collections.

Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who has the right attitude and wants to develop.
