Job summary

Loungers plc, the Casual Dining Group behind Orso Lounge, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, help run high-standard shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our quality expectations.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals from day one, and 50% off food & drinks. This is a flexible, part-time style role with opportunities to grow within the Loungers group.

Qualifications

• Good cooking skills with fresh ingredients
• Ability to follow recipes and plating specifications
• Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards
• Take ownership of your section and manage prep and par
• Follow allergen processes and ensure safety compliance
• Mentor junior team members and help develop their skills
