Job summary

Cosy Club St Albans is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to help lead a busy kitchen with fresh ingredients. Expect a total package around £43,000 per year, including base salary £33,200–£35,000 plus tronc £8,500–£11,000, and overtime pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.
• Mixed branded and independent background preferred.
• Ability to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Strong communication with FOH & BOH teams.

As one of our Junior Sous Chefs, you could earn in the region of circa £43,000 per year:

• Base Salary: Bewteen £33,200 and £35,000 per year depending on experience
• Tronc: Estimated between £8.5k - £11k annually. Our tips are shared equally across the team based on hours worked.
• Overtime Pay: Get paid for any hours worked beyond your contracted hours at your normal hourly rate - no pre-approval required.

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
