Job summary

Cosy Club Sheffield is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to support the kitchen in busy, high-volume service. You’ll cook from fresh, help lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef’s absence, and communicate well with the front of house team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.
• Able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Experience with both branded and independent venues preferred.
• Excellent communication across FOH and BOH.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef with kitchen leadership and delegating tasks.
• Ensure meals are prepared from fresh in high volumes.
• Maintain fair rotas and balance work life.

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
