Job summary

Cosy Club Bath is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for full-time hours. You will cook from fresh in high volumes and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence, while communicating across FOH & BOH to maintain team cohesion.

Earn on target £17–£19 per hour, with base rate £13.50–£14 and a tron bonus £3.50–£5 per hour. Perks include two days off every six weeks, meals on shift, 50% off food and drinks from day one, Wagestream and a festive Christmas Day off.

Qualifications

• Must have experience cooking from fresh in high volumes.
• Able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Communicate effectively with front and back of house teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes from fresh ingredients in high volumes.
• Lead kitchen team and manage rota in Head Chef's absence.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
• Collaborate with FOH to ensure consistent guest satisfaction.

• Hourly rate of £13.50 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
