Job summary

Cosy Club Derby is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen with passion and hands-on leadership. You’ll mentor the brigade, shape menus and uphold the Cosy standard across brunch, dinner and drinks.

The role is based in Derby and focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences. In return you could earn around £53,000 per year, including a base salary up to £45,000, tronc between £5,500 and £8,500, and a bonus up to £5,000, with overtime paid at standard rate.

• Lead the kitchen with vision and consistency, coaching and mentoring the team.
• Develop menus, standards and recipes to ensure high-quality, from-scratch dishes.
• Drive food quality, cleanliness and safety across all service periods.

• Base Salary: Up to £45,000 per year depending on experience
• Tronc: Estimated between £5.5k - £8.5k annually. Our tips are shared equally across the team based on hours worked.
• Bonus: Up to £5k additional bonus potential
• Overtime Pay: Get paid for any hours worked beyond your contracted hours at your normal hourly rate - no pre-approval required.
