Cosy Club Stratford is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to support a busy kitchen team. You’ll cook from fresh in high volumes, lead a small brigade in the Head Chef’s absence, and help maintain strong FOH & BOH relations.

Expect competitive pay: £14.00–£14.50 per hour, with on-target earnings of £17–£18 per hour including tron, and full-time hours. Benefits include meals on shifts, paid breaks, and opportunities to develop within a thriving hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking from fresh in high-volume environments.
• Ability to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Clear communication with FOH & BOH teams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook dishes from fresh ingredients.
• Support kitchen operations and supervise peers when Head Chef is absent.
• Maintain good relationships with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

• Hourly rate of £14.00 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
