White Swan in Birmingham is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our Premium Country Pubs family. You’ll run a kitchen section, train your team and ensure every dish meets brand standards, while delivering great guest experiences.

You’ll cook to spec, support senior chefs, and manage stock and ordering to set your team up for success. This role offers progression and paid qualifications within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at junior sous chef level or similar.
• Ability to lead a team and run a section during service.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Be a champion of brand standards.
• Cook to spec and work within brand targets.
• Support the chefs in your team to deliver top quality standards on every shift.
• Run your own section as a kitchen team leader and develop management and leadership skills.
• Support with stock control and ordering so you’re set up for success.
